Eternal
Jiangyin Eternal Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. specializes in the production of forged stainless steel seamless pipe round billets, strictly manufactured in accordance with industry standards ASTM A182 and ASTM A484. Our product range covers the full spectrum of stainless steel grades, including austenitic, martensitic, ferritic, and duplex stainless steels. The forged round billets are available in diameters from Φ200mm to Φ800mm, with customization options for fixed lengths, multiple lengths, and turned/polished surface finishes. They are specifically designed as high-quality piercing feedstock for seamless stainless steel pipe manufacturers, pressure vessel producers, heat exchanger fabricators, and petrochemical piping enterprises.
Compared with hot-rolled billets, our forged round billets offer distinct advantages: the repeated forging process ensures a dense and uniform internal metallurgical structure, with stringent control over porosity, segregation, and inclusion levels, while the alpha phase content meets required standards. This results in reduced cracking during the piercing process and a yield improvement of over 10%. Our products feature dimensional tolerances, straightness, and out-of-roundness that surpass national standards, making them directly suitable for processing thick-walled high-pressure seamless pipes and special corrosion-resistant and high-temperature-resistant tubes. Third-party non-destructive testing and physiochemical analysis are supported, and a full set of material quality certificates can be provided upon request.

100% UT inspection and metallographic examination
Non-Metallic Inclusions: Default to Group II, with A/B/C/D type inclusions ≤ Grade 2.5. Group I (≤ Grade 1.5) is available upon agreement. Inspection shall be conducted in accordance with ASTM E45.
Alpha (α) Ferrite Content – For austenitic stainless steel pipe billets:
≤ Φ150mm: ≤ Grade 1.5
> Φ150mm: ≤ Grade 2.0
Perforation delamination shall be strictly prevented.
Macrostructure: Free from shrinkage cavities, porosity, cracks, and excessive segregation. 100% ultrasonic testing shall be performed.
Intergranular Corrosion Resistance: Austenitic grades such as 304, 316L, and 321 may be tested in accordance with ASTM A262 series (e.g., oxalic acid test, ferric sulfate–sulfuric acid test) to meet the stringent requirements for clean piping in pharmaceutical and food industry applications.
1. Petrochemical Industry
316L, 317, and Duplex Stainless Steel forged pipe billets are processed into corrosion-resistant seamless pipes for crude oil transportation, hydrogenation units, acid/alkali reactor tube bundles, urea production lines, and high-pressure salt chemical pipelines. They provide excellent resistance to chloride pitting and stress corrosion cracking.
2. Power Generation / Boilers / New Energy
321, 347, and 310S heat-resistant pipe billets are used to manufacture boiler superheaters, waste heat power generation heat exchanger tubes, and desulfurization & denitrification piping in power plants. They ensure long-term service at elevated temperatures without cracking, with outstanding resistance to high-temperature oxidation and creep.
3. Food & Pharmaceutical Clean Piping Industry
304L and 316L low-carbon pipe billets are cold-drawn into sanitary seamless tubes for purified water systems and fermentation tank transfer lines. They resist corrosion from cleaning agents, with no extractables, fully compliant with GMP standards.
4. Marine Engineering / Seawater Desalination
2205 Duplex Stainless Steel round billets are used for seawater transport and offshore platform heat exchangers, providing long-term corrosion protection in high-chloride environments as a cost-effective alternative to high-cost nickel-based alloys.
5. Machinery / Valves / Hydraulic Equipment
1Cr13 and 2Cr13 martensitic pipe billets are processed into high-pressure valve bodies, hydraulic thick-wall seamless pipes, and steam turbine components, offering high strength, wear resistance, and rust protection.
6. Pressure Vessels / Heat Exchangers – Full Range
All series of forged round billets are tailored for seamless tubes used in shell-and-tube heat exchangers, condensers, and high-pressure gas storage vessels. The forged dense microstructure effectively eliminates perforation delamination, significantly reducing tube scrap rates.
