Production Process Control

Material Selection & IQC - Forging Quality Begins With Ingot Purity.

Chemical Analysis: 100% incoming inspection via German spectrometers to guarantee elements (C, Cr, Ni, Mo) and impurities (S, P) strictly meet ASTM/DIN standards.

Heat Traceability: Unique Heat Nos. are stamped instantly upon arrival, maintaining 100% end-to-end traceability across forging, heat treatment, and machining.

Forged Steel Material Inspection and Selection

Precision Heating

Heating & Curve Monitoring: Automated gas furnaces manage precise preheating, soaking, and forging temperatures. Stainless steel variance is kept within 10℃ to avoid grain coarsening and burning cracks.

Open Die Forging

Forging Ratio Control: Standards of ≥3.5:1 or ≥ 4:1are strictly followed. Heavy hydraulic presses perform repeated upsetting and drawing out to eliminate coarse as-cast structures and close internal micro-voids.

Heat Treatment & NDT

Heat Treatment

Microstructure Control in Heat Treatment: We execute precise normalizing, annealing, or quenching and tempering (Q&T) to achieve the optimal phase balance (e.g., grain-refined martensite, bainite, or austenite), eliminating internal stress and preventing network carbides.

Testing

• NDT: We mitigate risks at every critical checkpoint with mandatory 100% Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), which is strictly applied during the row material, post-heat treatment, and pre-shipping final check.
• MT/PT: 100% inspection for cracks and micro-defects on the finished surface and near-surface areas.
• Tensile & Impact Testing: We verify mechanical properties by pulling specimens from each heat-treat batch to test for yield strength, tensile strength, and elongation. For low-temp service, parts undergo Charpy impact testing calibrated to -40°C or -46°C.
• Metallographic Examination: Verify the forging's grain size per ASTM standards and check for microstructural anomalies to guarantee maximum corrosion resistance
• Hardness Testing: Conduct 100% hardness sorting using Brinell or Rockwell methods to eliminate any out-of-spec components.

We operate an independent, high-precision CNC machining shop equipped with heavy-duty vertical and horizontal lathes, multi-axis machining centers, and deep-hole drilling machines. Backed by 20 years of expertise in metallurgy and heat treatment, our engineering team skillfully manages the distinct cutting characteristics of various alloy steels, stainless steels, and high-hardness tool steels. This deep material insight allows us to strictly control critical geometric tolerances—including coaxiality, flatness, and true position—fully in compliance with ISO or DIN standards.
