As a leading supplier of stainless steel check valve forgings, we specialize in manufacturing high-quality ASTM A182 F304 forged valve bodies . Designed for rigorous service conditions, our F304 check valve forgings comply with international standards including ASME B16.34, API 6D, and NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156. Whether you require swing check valves or wafer dual-plate check valves, our forged F304 components deliver exceptional performance in high-pressure (Class 150 to 2500) and high-temperature (up to 815°C / 1500°F) environments.

We strictly adhere to valve forging standards during the forging and heat treatment processes to ensure quality.
We use heavy-duty forging presses to forge high-quality steel ingots or billets into valve body blanks in a single, continuous process.
By following internationally recognized heat treatment specifications, we impart exceptional strength, toughness, and hardness to our valve body forgings, fully unlocking the material’s potential.
After heat treatment, the valve body forgings undergo a rough machining process to ensure their external dimensions meet the requirements specified in the customer’s drawings.
Our forged stainless steel check valves stand out due to stringent quality control and advanced forging processes
The 18-8 austenitic structure of F304 ensures resistance to intergranular corrosion, making it ideal for chemical, petrochemical, and marine applications.
Designed per ASME B16.34, our forgings maintain structural integrity under extreme pressure fluctuations
Every heat of material is accompanied by EN 10204 Type 3.2 inspection certificates, ensuring full material traceability from melt to finished product.
We strictly follow ASME B16.10 (face-to-face dimensions) and ASME B16.11 (socket weld & threaded ends) to ensure seamless pipeline integration
Our forgings are machined into finished check valves that fully comply with global industry benchmarks:
Design & Pressure Rating: ASME B16.34 / ISO 15761
End-to-End Dimensions: ASME B16.10 (Lift/ Swing) & API 594 (Wafer/Dual-Plate)
Flange Connection: ASME B16.5 (≤24") & ASME B16.47 (≥26")
Sour Service (Optional): NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 for H₂S environments
Why do EPC contractors globally choose our ASTM A182 F304 forgings? They are extensively used in:
Oil & Gas Processing: Upstream wellhead equipment and downstream refinery piping.
LNG & Cryogenic Systems: Suitable for low-temperature services due to stable austenitic phase.
High-Purity Steam: Used in food processing and pharmaceutical utilities.
What is the difference between F304 and F316 check valve forgings?
While both are austenitic stainless steels, F316 contains 2-3% Molybdenum, offering superior resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride environments. F304 (our standard product) is more cost-effective and suitable for general corrosive services, oxidizing acids, and high-temperature steam up to 815°C.
Are your F304 forgings suitable for NACE MR0175 sour gas services?
Yes, our ASTM A182 F304 forgings can be supplied with Solution Annealed treatment and strict hardness control (≤ 22 HRC) to meet the requirements of NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 for H₂S-containing media.
What heat treatment is required for ASTM A182 F304 forgings?
The standard heat treatment for F304 is Solution Annealing, typically performed at a temperature range of 1010°C to 1120°C, followed by rapid cooling (water quenching) to prevent carbide precipitation and ensure maximum corrosion resistance.
