32Cr3Mo1V (32Cr3MoV) forged roll sleeves are the core working components of continuous cast-rolling mills for aluminium strip, directly performing the dual functions of ‘crystallisation’ and ‘rolling’ of the molten metal.
In the twin-roll continuous cast-rolling process, the roll sleeves come into direct contact with the high-temperature molten aluminium, with metal solidification and hot-rolling deformation taking place simultaneously within 2–3 seconds. Their quality directly affects: slab forming accuracy and surface quality; cast-rolling speed and production efficiency; equipment operational stability; and overall costs.
Applications: Aluminium strip cast-rolling mills and continuous cast-rolling production lines for aluminium alloy sheets and strips. Suitable for production line integration and spare parts procurement by aluminium processing enterprises and metal rolling manufacturers.

Every step—from electroslag refining and forging to precise heat treatment—is executed under stringent control, ensuring absolute integrity and performance of the roll sleeve.
The use of electric furnace smelting combined with ladle refining or electroslag remelting (ESR) effectively reduces the levels of non-metallic inclusions and harmful gases in the steel, providing high-purity steel ingots for subsequent forging.
Forging ratio control: When using ordinary steel ingots, the forging ratio should be ≥3.0; when using electroslag remelted steel ingots, it should be ≥2.0. A uniform grain structure is achieved through forging.
Post-forging heat treatment ensures that the forgings are free from white spots and possess excellent ultrasonic penetrability and machinability. Quenching and tempering achieves the perfect balance between high surface hardness and high core toughness.

Our cold mill roll sleeves are manufactured with uncompromising discipline across melting, forging, and heat treatment—leaving no variable to chance for maximum reliability.
Smelting → Forging → Heat treatment → Machining → Non-destructive testing; synchronised traceability and control across all process stages
100% ultrasonic testing; a quality assurance certificate and test report are provided with each item
Custom manufacturing based on drawings; we support delivery at various stages, including raw materials, rough machining and finish machining.
Delivery time is 10–20 days. If inspection confirms that the issue is indeed due to a quality defect in the forgings, we will take full responsibility.
